Residents are being asked for their views about the draft transport strategy for Sevenoaks district just published by Kent County Council.

The strategy looks at all aspects of transport in the area over the next sixteen years. You can download the full document if you go onto the Kent County Council web. Or alternately, see the strategy at Sevenoaks District Council offices in Argyle Road.

Closing date for comments is 27 November and it is expected that the document will be finalised in early 2010. KCC Cabinet Member for Highways Nick Chard said: “This is our vision for future transport provision in the Sevenoaks area and we would very much welcome constructive comments before producing the final document.”

All comments and submissions should be sent by email to SDST@kent.gov.uk or in writing to Sevenoaks Transport Strategy Consultation, Doubleday House, St Michael’s Close, Aylesford, Kent. ME20 7BU.

The draft has been produced in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council and is being designed to sit alongside their local planning documents.
