PURE Launches World’s First “Works With Iphone” DAB Bedside Radio

Based in Hertfordshire, PURE the world’s leading radio maker has launched Chronos iDock Series II, a stereo DAB/DAB+*/FM clock radio with iPod and iPhone dock. Part of Apple’s “Made for iPod” and “Works with iPhone” programmes, Chronos iDock Series II enables users to listen to their iPod/ iPhone while it charges. Track and ‘now playing’ information is displayed on the Chronos iDock Series II screen and users can control their iPod/ iPhone via the radio or remote control.

With an SRP of £99.99, Chronos iDock Series II is based on the award-winning Chronos iDock and delivers a sharp new look in black or white; greatly upgraded audio; enhanced controls including a rotary dial and larger, easy-to-use buttons. PowerPort is also added for connecting USB accessories such as a mobile phone charger; reading light; bedside fan or cup warmer solving the problem of having insufficient power points next to the bed. Chronos iDock Series II also has improved audio with a digital amplifier and custom-wound stereo speakers.

Chronos iDock Series II has lots of easy-to-use bedside features such as four independent alarms for waking to DAB/ FM, iPod/ iPhone or a tone; adjustable sleep and snooze timers and a light sensor which automatically dims the display. Thanks to handy front-panel connectors, an MP3/ CD player or headphones can be connected. A matching remote control is also supplied.
