Business optimism in Thanet
There is definitely a strong feeling of optimism from businesses in Thanet. We spoke to David Foley, Chief Executive of Thanet & East Kent Chamber to find out more.
The Thanet & East Kent Chamber (TEKC) is powered by local business to represent, support and assist companies and organisations in Thanet and East Kent.
Located in the heart of Thanet, they are the largest business support organisation in the area with extensive contacts to promote local, regional, national and international commercial exchanges.
Regular events with local networking opportunities are designed to boost business for their members and raise awareness of their products and services.
They offer their members free legal advice on employment, litigation, personal injury and general commercial issues as well as free accountancy guidance on tax, VAT, payroll and book-keeping. Free IT and computer advice is also available. Member-to-member discounts and TEKC marketing initiatives serve to raise the profile of members throughout the year.
