Callaghans advise on share sale of traffic surveillance company

The Corporate Group at Callaghans has recently acted for a shareholder on the share sale of an international company specialising in traffic surveillance systems for an undisclosed sum.  The target company’s head office is based in the UK and the company has business interests in the US, Asia Pacific and Europe.  The team was headed by Corporate Partner Murray Wells.  The purchaser was advised by Shoosmiths.

The corporate team are always willing to accommodate their clients’ requirements.  The completion timetable in this transaction was particularly tight in order that matters could be completed before the emergency budget on the 22^nd June 2010.  The team pulled out all the stops literally working around the clock to ensure the deadline was met, without compromising the need to achieve the best terms and maximum protection for the client.
