Kent born Orlando Bloom is promoting the newest appeal for UNICEF as one of their Goodwill Ambassador.

“UNICEF doesn’t just deliver humanitarian aid, which is what they are known for all over the world. They also educate and provide tools which help women and children face challenges specific to their own lives. I responded to how UNICEF works as much as I did to the work itself. I look forward to learning more and to supporting UNICEF anyway I can.”

A Kent-based company is continuing on the road to success after signing another licensing deal that will enable its Fuel-Saving technology to be manufactured, sold and installed in the Baltic States.

Oil Drum, based at the University of Kent in Canterbury, has awarded an exclusive licence to European renewable energy company UAB Hydro2. The deal will allow UAB Hydro2 to manufacture, sell and install the Save-Fuel On Demand Hydrogen Technology for the truck, bus and coach industries in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. … Watch the Film
